Substance Use Disorders
SBC Coaches meet clients wherever they are in their recovery journey, from curious to compliant to fiercely committed. SBC distinguishes itself in the vast field of recovery services by employing a unique, evidence-based methodology employed by vigorously trained coaches.
SBC Coaches have walked in their clients’ shoes. Maintaining strong personal recoveries, SBC Coaches support and empower clients struggling with substance use disorder to achieve long-term, sustained recovery of their own.
Most eating disorders are not about food. Complex systems of self-regulation and emotional management develop as a response to feelings of anxiety, stress, depression, low self-worth, fear, trauma, and other mental/psychological illnesses. Food might be the battleground, but the true conflict is internal.
SBC Coaches have been where our clients find themselves, offering individuals struggling with eating disorders and their loved ones an environment of empathetic, non-judgmental acceptance and respect.
Other Mental Health Disorders
Mental health disorders are characterized by a disturbance in cognition, behavior, and emotional regulation with symptoms causing significant distress or impairment in critical areas of functioning. SBC believes mental health disorders do not define the person; individuals struggling in one area may find ease in another, and each client is as unique as their presenting symptoms.
Working in partnership with a client’s treating clinical team, SBC Coaches are trained and certified to provide holistic care with equal attention paid to presenting symptoms and underlying root causes. SBC Coaches work with clients across the spectrum of mental health from social anxiety and depression, to more complex issues with potentially high-risk implications such as schizophrenia and type B personality disorders.
