Familiar with the shiny allure of drugs, eating disorders, and temptations intrinsic to the world of music and fashion in which she was raised, Miranda is passionate about helping others struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. As Global Vice President of SBC, Miranda channels this passion into strong, inspired leadership. Forming energetic bonds with SBC LifeTeams and other Team Members, Miranda designs effective strategies to support optimal outcome and progress. In collaboration with our strategic partners, Miranda clears a pathway for sustained growth.

In her leadership role Miranda has brought her expertise in a wide array of treatment modalities to SBC, including addiction medicine, holistic therapies, creative alternative healing approaches, and sober living communities. Deeply invested in the power of art and drama therapy to help people find their own authentic truth, Miranda pilots SBC’s use of the creative process to improve the physical, mental and emotional well-being of clients struggling with trauma, disordered eating, substance use disorder and other issues of recovery and self-reclamation.

Miranda’s personal experience as a trauma survivor inspired her training as a trauma-informed recovery specialist. With almost a decade of professional experience as a Substance Use Disorder coach and counselor, Miranda has worked with and received training from leading specialists in art therapy, psychotherapy, and addiction recovery. Miranda studied Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmith’s University in London.
